Services
Airfills
Dive Kaikoura is a New Zealand Underwater Association approved air filling station. All of our crew are also trained and approved air fillers. We have an onsite compressor, and can fill your cylinders anytime during the day.
Tank Testing
Dive cylinders are required by OSH Dangerous Goods to have a visual inspection every year, and a hydrostatic test every 2 years. This is to ensure the safety of the cylinder user and of the fill station crew. Tank testing can be done overnight.
Regulator & BCD Servicing
Dive Kaikoura's qualified technicians are able to service and repair most brands of regulators and BCD's. Regular servicing of your equipment enhances your safety by reducing the risk of equipment malfunction, and ensures optimum performance.
Your regulator and BCD should be serviced yearly; it will save you money in the long run. Most products that carry lifetime parts replacement warranties will void the warranty if the equipment isn't serviced yearly.
Equipment Hire
Dive Kaikoura offer equipment hire, with a wide range of gear to meet the needs of most divers, & snorkellers. Gear is hired on either a 1/2 day or full day rate. Our equipment range caters to all sizes and is of top quality.
Our BCD's are Apollo and Scuba Pro which we update and service regularly to ensure safety and comfort to customers. We use Sherwood, and Scuba Pro/UWATEC regulators and gauges, which offer reliable performance, and suit our local environment and conditions. We also hire out Fins, Masks, Snorkels, Boots, Weight belts, and Scuba Cylinders.
For hireage of any Scuba Equipment we need to see proof of your Diving Certification.
